Gingered Grand Marnier Cocktail

Ingredients

Crystallized ginger (medallions/jumbo slices or chunks)

Juice of one Clementine (or small sweet tangerine or mandarin)

1-2 ounces Grand Marnier (should be equal parts to Clementine juice)

 Instructions

Cut three pieces of crystallized ginger into quarters (to expose the ginger). Put the ginger in the bottom of a brandy snifter. Cover with ice. Pour in Grand Marnier. Add Clementine juice. Top with a stirrer speared with one ginger cube and one Clementine slice. Enjoy.

Mixologist Note: I do not use the smaller ginger pieces because I find that the larger pieces cut in squares expose more ginger spice.
